What happened to all the nonstop flights, it seems like there are only 1 or 2 per airline and they are either 6 a.m. or 8 p.m.? Got a good price on my hotel but getting there is going to cost more!

When are you looking to fly. Wow! 225/each way is ridiculous from Boston! I'm not sure where they get their rhyme or reason. :sad2: Especially when that same fare can drop down to $59/each way sometimes.

Did you try Air Tran? We got non stop with Air Tran for our upcoming March trip $84 each way per person. Flight leaves BOS at 11:50 and departs MCO at 8:00 a.m. Not loving the return time home but we have an 11 hour drive home so it worked perfectly. Air Tran was offering 2 non stops per day.

Jetblue's fare for nonstop are $225 each way right now!

$225 is really a pretty decent fare...especially lately!!! We just aren't seeing those under $100 one way fares very often now. You have to hit 'em just right in order to catch 'em. There is no way I would sit around and wait to book until the fares got to be $59-89 each way.

Anytime I get a fare of under $250 from Boston/Providence to MCO, I'm happy. Sure, I've flown for about $150 r/t, nonstop. But, that sure wasn't the norm...it was a gift!! There is no way airlines can fly profitably with those fares.

I think OP meant $225 each way; as in per segment. So, over $450 round trip.

I am finding similar fares on Jetblue for our August dates. Roughly $400 per person, round trip.

That's not the same as "What happened to all the nonstop flights, it seems like there are only 1 or 2 per airline and they are either 6 a.m. or 8 p.m.?".

It's only fair, when one means, "There's no combination of fares I want to pay on flights that are convenient for me", to state that. It's unreasonable to claim (in this case) an airline isn't providing nonstop service at 'good' times at prices I want to pay. Sometimes we simply need to pay more to customize a service or product.

JetBlue was over $400 rt for our trip in July too. We booked on Delta, which I am pretty nervous about but I got $239 pp rt.

Well said.

Boston to Orlando May 7-14

May 7 - Providence - MCO $83.00 including taxes - US Airways 1 stop
May 14 - MCO - PVD $90.00 including taxes - Delta (early AM flight) 1 stop

May 7 - BOS - MCO $124 including taxes - Delta - nonstop
May 14 - MCO - BOS $113 including taxes - AirTran 1 stop

Thanks for searching for me, I was hoping to go nonstop since I have a 5 year old who doesn't like to sit still. The rates you posted are great and I might have to consider them.

Thank you, I dont know how I was missing that UsAir flight. The 14th return only had one ticket left so it bumped us to staying until the monday :goodvibes...we booked for $175 per person and it is alot cheaper to park at PVD than BOS....again thank you

You can get directs from PVD to MCO on Southwest.

I was able to get like, 128/pp each segment around the same time (May 9 - 12).

OP said it was $225 EACH WAY. That's $450 a round trip ticket before taxes and fees!

when i booked my flight through jet blue (from BOS to MCO) it was $99 down and $173 back but i kept checking on the flights and they went up and down daily.. the flight got to $89 down and $99 back and i called jet blue and they credited me the difference.

I have one of those - only he is 14 now. :rotfl: I think it was Delta that we used last flight - it was nice to get off the plane and stretch our legs and get a snack in the terminal and then it was time to board for our next leg.

A direct flight would be great - but I am not willing to pay an extra $250/person for what is just an extra hour or two to get to where I am going.
