Flying Fish with kids?

Can anyone tell me if children would like the flying fish?
Do they have the normal kids meals?

I think I would really like to try this place.

My kids like FF. they are 9 & 13 now but we've been going for the past 3-4 years. They have a regular childrens' menu but my 13 yo old now gets the $29 steak!!! Oh, my bank account hurts!!!

There really isn't anything special for kids to do and it isn't a quick meal. In the final analysis you know how much you children can take & appreciate best of all...

when we ate at FF on our last trip. It was our wedding anniversary so we wanted something special - our boys were 6 and 9 at the time. We made an early PS and let them take their Gameboys, but the service was so quick they didn't have time to play them. The children's menu had about 6 choices - and they were very nice to serve my younger son's Mickey pasta with butter instead of tomato sauce.

Go ahead and give it a try!

I would defintely give FF a try. Its a great restaurant, if there is nothing that you kids like bring in take-out, they do't mind.

We were there in June'02, with our 2 DS. The server gave them each a puzzle toy to play with. I think I ended up playing with the darn thing more than them.

In the past, they would give out a scavenger hunt list of hidden features (in the restaurant) to spot. Most of the things you could spy from your table, but for some, you had to get up and look around. Perhaps they got a tired of kids poking around the restaurant and stopped the practice. If you ask your server, they still might have the list.

There is a kids menu. I can't remember what was on it, but I don't recall any WDW restaurant ever straying much from the tried and true kid stuff.
