Flying fish reopening?

Me too. Those were the two that we really wanted to do this Oct/November. I ended up making a reservation at Boma just so I can get a little bit of an AKL experience!

We did the same and are going over Halloween! Im so disappointed that flying fish, Jiko and V&A are still closed- its our first trip back as grown ups and we are going without the kids! well be back next december though so by then..... sob

I am hoping for February! It is where we usually have our anniversary dinner, and we celebrate our 50th on the 18th of February.

So glad to hear it! We celebrated our 30th at Artist Point, pre-characters, and were so disappointed we can't return there for our 40th next April. Flying Fish was an alternate idea, although we've never eaten there. Now let's both hope it's open for our respective anniversaries.

Somewhat off topic but knowing how much you’d enjoy if FF reopened during your upcoming trip perhaps give Trattoria Al Forna a try since the chef from FF is working there. Hints of his influence seem to be popping up over there.
