Flying fish or nacroossee's for wife's bday

We will be celebrating my wife's 40th in July and trying to decide what restaurant.

We have two 13 year old sons and of course myself.

For those who have eaten at both where would you book?

Also any advise on what kind of cake to order from the bakery would be great as well.

Flying Fish is better in terms of food quality and selection in my opinion.

I actually love both places. They are both favorites of mine! I did vote for FF though, just because I would give it the slight edge over Narcoossee's. I just absolutely love the Potato Wrapped Red Snapper, and order it every time we dine at FF. But, we have had wonderful experiences with both places.

Flying Fish is my favorite of Disney's dining plan signatures.

Narcoosees is my least favorite.

If you are not on the dining plan, I'd recommend you look at bluezoo's menu. It's several notches better than Flying Fish.

I can't choose! DH and I celebrated our anniversary in Nov by eating at 7 signature restaurants, and our top 3 were Flying Fish, California Grill and Narcoossee's! I would say Flying Fish had a more interesting menu, but Narcoossee's has a terrific view.

Voted Flying Fish. Food was incredibly good, much better than Narcoosees. And the boardwalk entertainers are fun too.

But Narcoosees could be nice if you want to see the fireworks and lighted boat parade from there or tour the Grand Floridian lobby and listen to the orchestra.

We just celebrated my daughter's birthday at Narcoossee's on Sunday. Mickey confetti on the table, a special keepsake menu, complimentary dessert. Several birthday wishes. Wonderful treatment for a special day!

Oh, the food was good too!! 9:00 reservation for 10:00 Wishes viewing. Pretty perfect night!

I voted for Narcoossee's, but both are great. Depends on where you are staying, too.

I have to say Narcoossees b/c we haven't eaten at FF. But both times we've eaten at Narcoossees it was wonderful! First time was for our anniversary very nice special night they gave us complimentary champagne and a beautiful dessert with happy anniversay written in chocolate. Also got keepsake menus with our name on it. Although I thought other restaurants do this as well when told of special occasions. We both got Surf &Turf both times it was fantastic. Service was excellent. Wish I knew how to post pics. Either way you'll have a great meal.
