HI! This might get a little long, but I just HAD to post what happened today. Maybe some of you are flying on Comair, Delta's connection carrier(i'm not sure where else they fly out of, we are flying out of New Orleans). You had better read this!!

We were booked through Walt Disney Travel Co. for 9/14, returning on 9/18. Our original flight was leaving at 7:50 am arriving MCO at 10:30 and returning at 5:00 pm on the 18th. The airline changed that about 2 months ago (without even notifying us, i found out when I checked my reserv. on Disney's website) to leaving an hour LATER and returning 3 hours earlier. Boy, I was pi**ed off! We barely have enough time as it is! Well, just today my friend who is going with us called me to let me know that Expedia called her about her flights (she's on the same flights as we are) and told her that Comair has cancelled our DIRECT flight from N.O. to MCO and gave her two choices for the outbound flight on Delta WITH a connection in Atlanta. This of course meant that we would be arriving 2 hours even later at 1:30 pm!! ARGHHH.

Well, she complained about the change and Expedia contacted Delta and they agreed to give her a full refund. Remember, her airfare was booked on Expedia, while mine was booked on WDTC. Well, nobody called me about any changes to the flights, so I called WDTC and they still showed that we were on the same flights!! I called Delta, and lo and behold our flights WERE cancelled on Comair. I guess WDTC and Delta's systems don't talk, and I wonder if anybody would have contacted me about these changes!!! I complained also to Delta and she did give me a full refund. Here's the kicker. WDTC told me that any changes to my reservation ( I was planning on cancelling the flights and booking somewhere else) would cost me the price of the airfare plus a $60 fee and that I could only use the airline tixs for travel to WDW!!! B.S.!! Delta did give me a full refund and she stated that I did not need to involve WDTC.

Now I have booked SW for $80 RT have great flights arriving at 9:20 am and we're not leaving MCO till 7:00 pm!! YEA!!!! I have more time at WDW and saved $200 since my Delta tixs were $150 pp.
