FlyBlu

Thanks for the heads up Mark, I've been waiting for this!

I really like the attitude from this company. They arent afraid to come clean when things go wrong, and I have a lot of respect for that. Most companies try to hide behind convoluted excuses and the same old smarmy rhetoric that means nothing.

Im not sure Birmingham is an option for us, but I will be watching closely, and I wish them every success. It is HIGH TIME someone made the oh so smug "Weve got it all sewn up to Orlando" Virgin lot sit up and take notice!!

Good luck FlyBlu!

Allie

PS: Stansted next??? :teeth:

PS: Stansted next???

Oh yes please - my dream. I could just step out of bed and into the airplane (well almost)

Having said that I have chosen to fly from Birmingham rather than Heathrow to Ireland on occasion. Travel time from darkest Essex is not that much longer. Of course that was in the days BRA (Before Ryan Air), who now have the monopoly on routes to Ireland from our neck of the woods. My Mum checked in a case weighing just under 20kg on her return from a two week stay in Ireland and was charged 14 Euro excess baggage. Sorry to digress - its the lack of choice I object to

Stanstead would be BRILLIANT for me too::yes::

Is anyone listening!:hyper:

Why do you live at Gate 67 aswell ? ;) (If you havent seen The Terminal-dont worry)

We've already booked our next trip and we're trying Birmingham for the first time :) Not the most convenient for us, but we're hoping it will be better than Gatwick!

I'll definitely be checking out FlyBlu for the future.
