Can I bring powder like the sine serve Lemonade

Is it true that my phone can stay on at all times as long as it us in airplane mode

Tia

What is sine serve lemonade? TSA might be a little suspicious of any unlabeled powder. Whatever it is, leave it in its original packaging or put it in your checked luggage.

Personal electronics has to be off for take of and landing on most airlines. They will make an announcement about this. During the flight they can be operated in airplane mode. Hence the name

US domestic flights *usually* allow airplane mode once at altitude. But that can change, so pay attention to the announcements.

When traveling for a run, I bring on all my hydration/supplement stuff, and the one powder I have is in snack baggies in weighed out portions. No one has said a single word about my baggies of powder.

This is no longer true. The FAA now allows phones and small portable electronic devices to be used during takeoff and landing, but they must be in airplane mode or have cellular service disabled. It's up to the airline, but I believe most have implemented it. I know United has but I haven't flown any others.

I've been on flights where they still tell you to not use your cell phone, even in airplane mode. So listen to the announcements, and follow the instructions. Don't depend on being able to use your phone because you may not be able to.

Most(Delta, JetBlue, American, United, Alaska, US Airways, Southwest) of them started to allow it shortly after the FAA ruled it OK in 2013

Ipods, cell phones etc don't need to be turned off, but do need to be in airplane mode. Ipads, laptops, etc do need to be turned off and stowed for take-offs and landings.

During flight, yes, but all airlines I've been on lately want them off for takeoff and landing.
Just flew on Delta last week and Southwest last summer. Both allowed cell phones/ipods to be used the entire flight, in airplane mode.

Not quite correct. Ipads and other tablets and e-readers can be on (in airplane mode) at all times. Laptops must be off and stowed, mainly due to their size, as they could become hazards if they go airborne. This applies to domestic flights only.

I stand corrected. Most of my recent flights have been on non-US carriers overseas.

I actually thought that was true, but didn't want to make yet another egregious error, LOL. Thanks for knowing what I only thought I remembered. Because I remembered playing Candy Crush on my ipad during takeoff, with the FA knowing what I was doing (and everyone else doing the same around me) but memory can be faulty.

I thought I read a article rectify that phones can stay on during take off and landing provided they are on airplane mode
