I hope this is the place to ask. Has anyone had flowers delivered to the room for arrival?
Is this even possible?
Any experience with this type of request would be helpful.

The reason I ask is that this will be a early 10yr anniversary trip (Married in March 2001) and we are going to celebrate on our Oct trip this year. I would like to surprise my wife with flowers.

Thank you,
Chris.

missed this part... yes was able to use the disney florist the 1st time and the 2nd tike I even just use 1-800 flowers and it got to the right location, any specific answer you are looking for ?

Thanks DFD,

I didn't know if it was possible but now I know it is with a few questions spread over a few boards. I was turned on to Disney Florists and have ordered a few things for my wife to be delivered and set up in the room. I have to keep her out of the resort till at least 9:00pm the second night. Thankfully that shouldn't be too hard at her favorite place on the planet. :rotfl:
I'll let the board know how it goes.

DH has had flowers delivered to me twice, once for my tenth Disney trip, once for Mother's Day. In both cases, he just called the main WDW phone #, told them what he wanted to do, and they connected him to the correct department. What was strange was how different the two times went for me as the recipient. The first time, at POR, there were no flowers waiting for me and when I called home to tell DH I'd gotten there, he questioned me, so I had to call the front desk. They told me that they never have flowers waiting in case the recipient has a last-minute room switch. They didn't explain why they didn't deliver them until I asked for them. My second time, at BC, went much more smoothly. As I was checking in, the CM suddenly said "Oh, I'll be right back!" while she was looking at the computer. That time the flowers were waiting in the room. My guess is that the delivery of flowers was noted on the computer, and as long as they do it before they hand you your room key, it's OK. And if they do it when you check in, they certainly know which room your going to.
These were my Mother's Day flowers from the BC. I loved the way they fit into the BC theme. To tell the truth, they fit in so well, I didn't notice them right away when I entered the room-

you definitely can.

WDW florist is the only one that can leave them in your room before you arrive.

the others have to wait (but they are cheaper)

I have used Disney Flowers three times. All three were much better than I expected for the price.

They delivered to the Cruise Line for us once. I thought they would used an onboard florist, but they came from the park.
