My MIL watched Jonathan for me today, so that I could take Jess and go school clothes shopping. We had a great time, and she got so many cute things!

She wanted to go into Limited Too, and I said okay, but we probably will not buy anything. Well we found this cute outfit, it was a plaid skirt with a camisole shirt and a lightweight sweater that went over it.

So she tries it on, fits good, looks great. She takes it off. The skirt is $37, the camisole top is $20 and the sweater is $37.

I told her no way, I am not spending $100 on a single outfit.

I remember the Limited Too days the only time I would buy stuff from there is when they gave the spend 50 and get 25 dollars back, then it was worth it, shop the clearance racks, you can find the expensive stuff there soon enough

well, maybe they are in the trap on the washer I found four in there when I cleaned it out and we've only had the thing for about 5 months.


Most likely, it's the dog. OR under the bed

I think my kids will be going back to school in their summer clothes. I don't see any time in my upcoming schedule to fit that in. I'm thinking the week after school starts is when I might get out but then I will be broke from Disney World

The phones were great - charged up fine - the $20 one is already causing issues though - it won't turn on with or without the powercord in it

Kayleigh loves Limited Too as well, but I will only shop the clearance. She has learned this well. When they have the clearance I can get stuff for the same prices I'd spend at Target or anywhere else, so why not. Sometimes she still wants all the regular priced stuff but I finally had to give her a visual. There were these capri sweatpants she wanted. Yes, they were cute, but they were $35. For sweatpants. So I let her hold them and went back to clearance and did my shopping. I had a handful of stuff- panties, jean jumper, shorts, tanks, etc..... all totaled to around $35. I showed her both what she was holding and what I was holding, and explained to her that what she had wasn't on sale, and what I had was. I told her they cost the same amount, but I was only buying one, and she could pick. Smart girl picked the stack of clothes. I think that was what finally made it sink into her head that we can't just pick up whatever and buy it just because we like it. Heck, I can't afford Limited Too that way!

Im going to stop going to the BB spoiler site. First I didnt like what was going on,. then I did, now it might be changing again.

I wonder if this crap goes on on Survivor and we just dont get to see it

That was the first time we have shopped there, so I was shocked.

nah, just frugal. I couldn't think of how else to get it through to her, it was just too abstract for her, but being able to see it helped her understand it. We've been in there quite a bit, there and Justice. I have a cousin who is only a few years older than Kayleigh and Kristi has filled her in on ALL the places she *has* to shop. Doesn't help matters that the place is a little girl's paradise with all the pink and sparkles and whatnot. You'll just have to go back without her and check the clearance. It's kind of hit or miss but sometimes I like to go to the mall just to get a walk in so I will check that and Children's Place just because I'm there.

Justice is just like the Limited Too. Maybe slightly less expensive but same concept. Of course she loves that one too

Children's Place is another one that when you hit the sales right, Last time I went down to the outlets near us there was a Children's Place Outlet and they were doing extra 50% off all redlines. I got some awesome deals. That is how I like to shop, it's like a game for me. I walked out of the store with a massive bag and spent under $30.
