Yhey use to have big light bulbs in them that would easily burn the hand.

goodnight anyone who is still here. I am puttering around the house and doing some cleaning that I wasn't able to do before due to no power. Gotta get caught up and then get some sleep. Talk to you all tomorrow and if I don't, have a great weekend!

Okay Jenna, you should know better than to talk about homemade chocolate cake with Herseys syrup and not share the receipe.

Here it is:

Hershey Cake


Cake:
5 eggs, well beaten
1 can Hershey Syrup
1 c. flour
1 c. Crisco oil
1 c. sugar
1 pinch of salt

Icing:
1 stick margarine
5 T. cocoa
6 T. milk
Box of powdered sugar






Cake: Mix all the ingredients and bake at 350 in one pan.
Icing: Bring the margarine, cocoa, and milk to a boil and add the box of powdered sugar


LOL I just noticed that my Nanny never said how long to cook it, I think it was around 30 minutes or so, I started checking with a toothpick around 25 minutes.

Jenna, sorry I disappeared last night. I went upstairs to do a few things and wound up sitting on the bed to pet the cat for a minute. That's the end of that story, the cat put me right to sleep. Sorry!

My dad called me. I know I've mentioned his girlfriend, that she hasn't been feeling well. Well, she collapsed at home--luckily her son was there with her--and she's in the hospital. She hasn't been herself for months, she's had tons of tests, all they managed to do is rule out cancer. I hope they can do something for her there.

I'm so sorry Missy! I will keep her in my prayers.
