I don't wear makeup. I have it but I don't like the feeling of having stuff on my face. I also don't like having my fingernails painted, just the toes. I know how to do stage makeup but not so much for the everyday stuff, I just never got into it and when I read the things in magazines with all the tips and whatnot it's all greek to me. I read it like this

We ended up losing power for about an hour and a half. It was awful, the kids were miserable. Just as I was about to grab some stuff and head for my mom's house it finally came back on. Usually it's quicker than that since we're near a hospital but no luck this time.

My dad called me. I know I've mentioned his girlfriend, that she hasn't been feeling well. Well, she collapsed at home--luckily her son was there with her--and she's in the hospital. She hasn't been herself for months, she's had tons of tests, all they managed to do is rule out cancer. I hope they can do something for her there.

Missy I hope everything works ok for her... Keep us posted..

And you guys gotta hope the Mets have already won the World Series by then. Because right now, Game 7 is scheduled for November 1st. If they are in it, I will go to dinner & drinks, but I won't be doing anything else that night. I will go back to my room & sweat it out. But only after 9 or 10.

Don't worry the Tigers are gonna win so you will be fine..

It took me forever to catch up today. You guys were a very chatty bunch today... I did the grocery shopping thing today.. I even went to the fruit market which I am glad I did since I got lots of good deal..

The minute I was walking to the train station, the heavens opened up.
It lasted 5 minutes. If I left the office 2 minutes earlier I woul have missed it.

We had the very heavy rain yesterday. It had to be loud to wake my DD up.
