Flower question for gardeners

I am giving out seed packets for a bridal shower party favor. The theme being "Love is in Bloom".

What is a good flower seed that people will be able to just sprinkle in the dirt and possibly have some success with?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Nasturtiums. They're an annual. They'll only grow one season, this season. They're pretty, grow fast, bloom a lot, are pretty tolerant and are edible. Not that I've ever eaten any, but they look pretty on a plate or on top of a salad. Some climb and some are low to the ground.

Marigolds are another good choice.
