This was taken on Memorial Day weekend which was another rainy day just like today. It's the first pond flower of the season. It took about an hour to open and then faded in the rain.

Wow! That is such a beautiful yellow. I love it. Sounds like you east-coast folks are getting a Pacific NW spring...while we are getting a beautiful, sunny & warm spring. I hope this doesn't mean our summer will be wet.

She's had enough sunny weather

Enjoy it while you can and if you can send it our way, ok?.
I shouldn't complain here in the NE with all the droughts we've had in the last few summers ..but really enough is enough, blub, blub

I put in a yellow water iris this year, hope it's as beautiful as yours.

My water lilies are coming along great might ever get a bloom next week, other then that everything is just taking it time, very cool weather, not much sunshine and lots of rain.

Oh that's gorgeous!! :) Thank you!

It's raining, thunder and lightening...and cool enough that I actually put the furnace back on!!!

Enough!

Love the little ditty....lol..:)
