Since we like to plan ahead, and maybe others here do as well, here are the dates for the '07 festival:

April 13 - June 3!

We were there this past weekend and attended the Mother's Day Brunch which was wonderful!

Thanks :thumbsup2 If DS goes back to USF,Tampa I'd like to go again same dates. I think the flowers are at their peak in May at the F&G.

How far in advance did you have to book the Mothers day brunch? Must've been very special.
Missed Mothers Day brunch this yr. but will try for next year. It's ok, I felt like it was Mothers Day every day in WDW with DSs & DH all together.

We happen to be heading back to Florida on June 9th, and I'm interested in seeing how the blooms hold up. There were some New Guinea impatiens by Epcot's International Gateway, and some, I forget the name of, not coleus, maybe elephant ears, pink ones in the actual displays that were definitely worse for the wear on Sunday. I was very surprised.

We had to change the Mother's Day Brunch from 6 people to 7 people about 6 weeks ago, and instead of being able to get in at noon, which we originally had, we got the new ressie at 12:45, so it's not as if you have to book way in advance to "get in."

I'm so glad you had the special feeling at WDW with your family!

When I was down in March they were just starting the rose beds in Canada and I noticed then that they were thin. By May they were full as you can see from the pics. Still they need some deadheading but really beautiful anyway.
What a great job that would be deadheading the F&G Fest.
By Sunday the temps probably got to all of the plantings. DS said they had high temps and no rain for weeks prior to our visit. Maybe that's why they concentrate on topiaries. It rained heavily on Tuesday morning.
My topiary favs are Pooh and Rabbit :cheer2:
