More shopping and a last trip to Universal.

Late rising today - sign of the impending doom that is "The Return Home".
We breakfast at Regal Palms this morning(much to Cyril's delight - more Danish Pastries!) while Ricky checks his Emails on his laptop.
This is a pretty easy affair actually as the computer room in the lobby has wireless internet access and he simply opens up his laptop and logs on for free.
This is going to be a last shopping expedition today - followed - hopefully - by a final trip to Universal Studios this evening.
We hit the Lake Buena Vista outlets first - no purchases made here although it's very tempting to nip into the TCD office and ask for an extention to the holiday for a couple of weeks! - If Only......!
Next is Walmart on the 192. Just something for lunch bought here and a couple of souveneirs.
The Target "Theme Park" is next, followed by some of those 99 cent type shops.
We then head back to the villa to pack and finish off all the items in the fridge for lunch.
I have a very healthy selection of Dorito's, Ice Cream Bars, Donuts and macaroons.
I now need those three rubber rings just to stay afloat! I'll spare you THAT photo!
The rain is now falling heavily on my parade (quite literally) and we sit watching the weather channel as it tracks hurricane Katrina.
How lucky we have been to miss this huge storm is not apparent to us until we return home but the pictures on the TV show the size and scale of this monster as it sat in the Gulf of Mexico and made it's way up through Louisiana.
When the rain finally eases we set off for our "last supper" at the Ponderosa.
It's not great to be honest and the food is pretty poor quality today.
I suspect this is mostly due to my mood as it darkens with each coming hour.
I hate going home.
It's how life should be here - having fun with the family and not having to worry about work and school. Oh well - ..........
We arrive at Universal Studios and head straight for the Mummy. She seems quite frightened by this and calls security!
I've read a lot about this ride but nothing prepares you for the actual speed of the thing. It's all I can do to hold down my dinner - and as for looking up to your left to see if you can spot King Kong - forget it!
I think it was OK but it's one of those that you need to ride a couple of times before you can really appreciate it. No time left for that I'm afraid.
We stroll around the park trying to soak up those last few drops of our holiday atmosphere.
Outside Back To The Future there is "Doc" posing for photo's.
Ricky takes a shine to this car outside Mel's Diner - and Joyce finally finds something as old as her!
I suddenly realise that there is still so much that we have missed - a Meal at Mel's Diner would have been nice - some goodies from Schwabs - a cake from the Cheesecake Factory.
And what about all those rides we haven't done yet?
The time now seems to have just flown by and although we have done and seen so much - there is so much more that I want to do.
We have to come back.....again......soon!
We've just got time for a couple more rides before closing time. The only downside of coming at this time of year - US closes at 6.00pm.
We manage a quick ride on Back to the Future and finally Men in Black before the park closes and we have to leave.
I love the atmosphere at night here.
Back to the villa to finish the packing.
Really depessed now.......
We take one last swim in the pool before bed.
I cry myself to sleep..........Boo Hoo.............
