I went back and was looking for similiar circumstances based on my situation. It infuriated me to see the "what happened" tag again after the OP posted to the list. I don't think that just because Andy (or anyone) comes back and says "what really happened" it should be taken as gospel truth. And I understand what you are saying about both sides of a story. Your right, both sides should be presented. What upsets me though is because my situation happened to me, I know the facts in my OWN situation - regardless of whether someone else may view them as subjective or not.
My feelings of anger are based on it appearing from Andy that somehow it was not entirely his mistake (example: we did not tell him all info, somehow made some quick changes) and that he acted very generously (by paying for a taxi for us even though he had been paid already for the same service).
And yes mistakes do happen. It is just I expect more then I'm sorry and then a vague "I am good guy in all of this". I epect to be compensated, for paying for a van that I never got, for the stress - and for the simple fact that he told me on the phone he would give me my money back.
I tried to post to these boards to make a comment - then got upset because Andy decided to then post on my original thread "what happened" as if it was truth. It's not.
I got upset and this is my only recourse. To tell others on this board, as I chose FL Tours because of the urgings of the board itself to use the sponsor and the good reviews from others. I look back and see that anytime someone has something negative to say about FL Tours though, they are negated some way, shape or form. There is a problem though.
