We'll be staying at HRH but visiting Disney, too & we are driving to FL for the first time.

How much do the tolls run? I just want to know if I need to keep singles in the car or if I should have dimes, quarters, etc. Thanks!

For people without the Sunpass, many toll booths have a special exit to pay the toll. They will make change if needed. We often take a toll road from MCO and need 50 cents at an unmanned booth where we exit. So some quarters may come in handy.

Ya we were just in Florida and I agree just make sure you have some loose change hanging around for those unmanned booths that ask for 50 cents. We came upon one and ended up scraping up change between us for the toll.

If you map out your routes in advance (googlemaps or mapquest and the like) its very possible to route yourself around toll roads, I did this on our January trip. It did take slightly longer since you will hit more stop lights, but I personally thinks its totally worth the time to save the bucks on tolls. Also to get from HRH to WDW you will not hit any toll roads anyway, just take
I-4W. AM traffic was a bit heavy, I didn''t find it as bad as the AM rush hour at home, besides it will mostly be over by 8 or so. Good luck and have fun.
