Cast of Characters:
Sue - 44 - (Thinks she's 24) Chief Planner, Worrier, and Yo Yo Dieter.
Vicki - 16 - (Thinks she's 26) - Emo,Thrill Ride Seeker and Mums Best Friend.
Up really early today as we wanted to make the opening of Magic Kingdom as we hadnt yet seen it through the day and had to be back and changed ready to make the dis meet later on by 3pm.
Grabbed a quick coffee and Krispy Kreme from the hotel (heathly eating yet again) and headed down to the bus stop, a bus came almost as soon as we turned up and made it in time for the opening. Saw the Mayor of Magic Kingdom and all the characters turn up on the train, what a wonderful way to open the park.
First stop was Exposistion Hall for the annual photos, we do these every year and love this place.
Outside Vicki was just in time for a photo with Pinocchio and Gheppeto.
We stopped to have some photos taken in front of the castle, but it was a shame that there was a huge big blooming crane in the picture as well,
however they were able to crop it out of our photopass piccies. 
From here we went over to tomorrowland and rode Buzz,Space Mountain and Buzz again, I am still rubbish at scoring anything of a decent score here but I think Vicki did well. Quick trip around Fantasyland follwed and we were able to do Mickeys Philharmagic, and of course Its A Small World. There were fairly big queues for all the other rides here and as we had to be back by 2pm we left them for another day. Hop skip and a jump over to Frontierland, where we had to choose between Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain as we didnt have time to queue for both and fastpasses were for later than we would be there, so Splash won hands down, and what a blast, its a great ride and we were suitably soaked. 
We hoped that we could get in to see POC but as it had a 40 min standby time, it was also on the list for another day along with the Tutorial which I am so looking forward to seeing, look out for more piccies of this in the coming reports.
We then had to leave to make sure we made it back to Epcot by 3 for the dis meet, but we will be back to Magic Kingdom another day.

before meeting up with Kaylee, Alan, Joseph and their dear friend Carolyn, before heading over to the Rose and Crown for the dis meet. When we arrived the garden by the side was full but there were 2 or 3 tables at the front which we secured. We were there by 3 but nobody else had arrived then, so we treated ourselves to fish and chips and settled down and waited. By 3.30 I was getting a bit concerned that people might not turn up, it was'nt supposed to start until 4, but a few people said they may by there by 3. Along came Shirley and her dear husband and they brought us all Lime Green Mickey Heads,(thank you Shirley) so I took it upon myself to walk over to the garden area and shout out "Dis- Meet" "Dis Meet" whilst waving my little green Mickey head. What a sight I must have looked 
Loads of people were staring at me as if I had lost the plot and the sun had gone to my head, but hey, it worked as somebody came up to me and said where is everyone, it was Vernon, a member of the dis and former mod, who now works for DVC. I showed him over to the others and continued my quest for other dissers, to be honest I would have dragged innocent people over if they stood still long enough even if they did'nt belong to the dis

I love the opening of the MK, so much so that your pics made me well up a little.
