Florida School hols

Just read the post about American Holidays and as we at "The Sunshine State" for August I was wondering if anyone knows when the American kids return to school ??

We usually tend to go to Florida during the last two weeks of August as the Ameircan school holidays are just about finished then.


Less queues in the parks and the weather is usually very HOT - just how we like it, but not to everyones taste.

I think it's different in different states, but generally speaking the summer break is from mid June to mid August. We were there last two weeks August, first week September, 2000 and the crowds weren't too bad at all.
