Florida resident discounts

I know there was a thread alittle while ago about when the Florida resident discounts were coming out for June, but I can't find it. I called this morning to book a surprise 4 night for my husband's birthday. It looks like there won't be any discounts and they're pretty full up for all of June. For the June 6th cruise they were already on gty basis for cat. 11 and 6! They don't have any fl. resident discounts coming out yet for any cruise any time soon. The CM told me that the cruises over the next few months were already pretty full and she didn't see any discounts coming out. Darn! I had my heart set on taking another one and we've been so lucky getting the discounts for our last 4 that I just can't bring myself to paying full price. The early booking discounts are already gone as well so it was full price.

I was looking for July with FL resident discounts and there is nothing on the horizon past March.

I'm waiting for the "I've always paid full price and in U.S. dollar discount for us cheap Canadians" discount but they told me something about monkey's flying so I'm not sure to take this as a no or not.

i thought that the res discount was only applied certain months like my season pass.. I always assumed you could not get one in june july /august and week of easter and X mas.... was i wrong? that would be great if we could get the discount in summer anyone evr get the discount durring balck out season???

Suzanne, from what the CM told me yesteray, until the beginning of August, almost all the cruises are very booked up so she didn't think that they'd be releasing any discounts prior to that. I had her check all the 3 and 4 night cruises for June and they were all pretty full. Cats 11 and 6's were on gty basis for most of them. I had no problems last March changing my 7 night from July to June and getting the exact cabins that I wanted plus the discount. They even had the FL discount for cruises in July last year and the year before. This time around they're full. I guess people are traveling and economy is getting better so us Floridians are plum out of luck!
