I'm a legitimate FL resident looking to book a room for myself and extended family. Challenge is that b/c of schedules I may not arrive at the resort until the day after the rest of my party. My question, especially in the age of online check-in, is whether I can provide my proof of residency in advance via fax or a few days into the stay and still receive the FL resident rate? Does anyone have any experience as to how this works? Thanks!

I doubt it.

Nothing to stop someone from never actually showing up and getting the discount for people who dont qualify.
