Can someone please tell me how this will work or if it will? We are a family of 4 that live in Florida. We have my BIL family of 4 coming in Feb for a couple nights at Disney. There are discount rates for FL residents. Will they allow two rooms to be booked, one under me and another under DH for both families?

I have booked two rooms before under the FL Res rate - the FL resident just has to be in one of the rooms and present at check-in with their FL ID. I THINK CRO said you're allowed to book up to 3 rooms at the same rate, but it's been awhile so I might be wrong. ;)

I paid the deposit for both rooms on my credit card (then just had the other couple pay me back), then during check in the other couple just put down their credit card for room charges, etc. to their room.

CRO didn't have me use my DH name, etc, to book the second room- just used my name and FL info for the main ressie and then just the names of the other couple for the 2nd room. BTW, we also asked for connecting rooms and got them!

As long as there is a FL resident in each room you are fine. Keep in mind, this will have DH room key (and room charges) to BIL room and BIL will have a room key (and room charges if you allow charging) to your room. You could "swap keys".

I dont think this is correct :confused3

My parents are FL residents, and booked 2 rooms, one for us, one for them (we also got the connecting rooms! ) I reserved the 2 rooms and then my mom would call with her ressie number to pay their room fees, and I would call with our ressie number and paid our room fees (we paid a little each month) then when we got there, even though the CM that made the initial reservation had our reservations "linked", we had seperate keys, and seperate CC#'s so I would charge stuff on my room key and my mom never knew about it... (and vice versa)

but do try and get the reservations "linked" if you want connecting rooms...
