I was pleased to hear mention of the "Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary on this weeks podcast. 
My husband Dino and I have donated to this fine cause for many years now.
If you can, it would be so helpful if you could make a donation to them. They do wonderful work for the birds of Florida's coasts

If you have a chance to get over to the West Coast, by all means stop in for a tour of the facilities. They are located in Indian Shores, which is between Clearwater and St.Pete beach.
They are open every day and admission is free
The first thing I learned from them was about how devasting the plastic soda carrier rings are. Please before you throw them away take a few minutes to cut through all the rings. So many birds are strangled each year because they get their heads caught in the rings.
Don't get me started about fishing line . . .
