Seems that they are going to milk this game for every cent they can get. At this rate, it will be midnight before the Gators get to celebrate their victory.

I do find it interesting that after all the smack...Ohio has some of its worst 1st qtr/1st half stats this game. So even if the gators lose...I'm still .

On par for time for college football... which always takes too long. They seriously need to get rid of the "Stop the clock after a 1st down" rule, get rid of the "Clock runs after a change of possession", and do like the NFL so that going out of bounds only stops the clock inside of 2 minutes. The NFL can play in 3 hours, there is no reason college can't as well.

Is there some sort of rush to get the game over with?

I like the somewhat leisurely pace of the game. Gives one time to digest what's going on. I don't like all the ad timeouts but that only really has an effect when one is actually at the game.

I'm searching for an old thread about how the Gators didn't deserve to be in this game....where is it I'll find it. I said I'd be back on Jan. 9th to check in. It's still officially the 8th, but at 41-14 with 6 minutes left, I feel pretty comfortable to stop by and gloat to all those naysayers.
