We would like to go by a courthouse while in Orlando instead of applying by mail. We would preferably like to make this stop somewhere between the airport and going to our hotel at Disney. Does anyone know which location we could go to? Would just having our passports be enough, or do we need something else? Is it a quick in and out? TIA!

I know there is a place in Kissimmee you can go, but not exactly sure where. We went to Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando. Not on the way to Disney from the airport, but it was a quick in and out, with no problems. They said you needed a passport or SS card along with your driver's license or ID, but the girl didn't even ask for ours. We filled out the one sheet application, paid our ridiculous $94.00 and had license in hand! Just remember, you have to wait 3 days before it's valid for use! HTH!! :goodvibes

It depends on the time of day you go how quick it is, we went at lunchtime and we had to queue up for about 30 minutes i'd say.

We just went to the Kissimmee Court House on Monday. I can't remember the address, but it was a pretty painless (and very excited) to do. The longest line was to get through security. The fee there was $97.50 (cost of license + clerk of court fee). They just asked for our driver's license. I handed her my passport and she actually just asked for my license as she said it was easier. Since we are from out of state, our license can be used immediately. There is only a 3-day waiting period for FL residents.

I recommend going by mail through brevard county I believe? Search Tge forum and you should find some links! :goodvibes

If you don't have the passporters guide to weddings and honeymoons- I highly recommend!!

I had to show my license and social security card when we applied for ours in Miami. If you're a FL resident you have to wait 3 days, non-residents have no waiting period.

I know this is a little off topic, but for anyone else who looks at this thread in hopes to find online marriage license application information as well ...Here is what ive compiled.
