Can someone help with some nice user friendly directions for getting to the Mall

We will be picking our friends up who are staying on the 192 beside Old Town.

I would say take the 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) north from the 192. If you hit Sandlake Road you have gone too far

From Old Town, I wouldn't recommend taking the Orange Blossom Trail unless you particularly want to see some different scenery. You'd be heading south east on the 192 to travel north on the OBT, both of which are busy roads and stop/start thanks to all the intersections/lights.

The most direct route is to take the 417 Central Florida Greeneway until it hits the OBT and then head north. The problem with that is you still have to negotiate the busiest section of the OBT.

I would head for the I-4. Take International Drive South (a right off the 192 very near Old Town) and then left at the Gaylord Palms onto the Osceola Parkway. You'll hit the I-4 junction almost immediately. (If you prefer to keep it simple, you can just head west on the 192 until you hit the I-4, but you'll be going a bit further and on a busier road). Head north on the I-4 until you reach the Beeline Expressway (the juntion after Sea World). Head east (the only way you can travel on the Beeline at this point) until you reach the Orange Blossom Trail. You then only have a short distance to travel until you hit the Mall - there will be several entrances on your right. Even if you do miss them and hit Sand Lake Road, just turn right at the intersection and you will have several more entrances on your right (the Mall is on the corner of OBT and SLR and is accessible from them both).

The alternative is to stay on the I-4 until you hit Sand Lake Road and then travel east until you reach the junction with the OBT.
