Hi,

I know a thread has just been posted about car seats but mine is a slightly different question.::yes::

I believe the law states that any child aged 5 and under is required to have an appropriate car seat or booster seat which is fine, however, I have a 4.5 year old boy and a 6.5 year old girl but my son at age 4.5 is wider and taller than my 6.5 year old so am I to assume that he will still have to have a seat but my daughter wouldn't have to have one. It just doesn't make too much sense!!

Also, are we allowed to take booster seats on the planes for the kids to sit on or do they have to go in the hold. We are flying from Glasgow to Heathrow to DC to Orlando on United! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Many thanks for your help

I've been told by our town car company that children over four, or over 40 pounds don't need a car seat. And on a thread I posted a while back I was given this link.

Not sure about booster seats - though I don't think they can be used on the plane, and so must go in the hold.

Apologies for the mess up earlier!!! :p
