Florida DISers...I need your help

My sister and BIL are looking to relocate to Florida. Can you recommend some nice areas about 1/2-one hour north of Daytona?

I hate to break it to you, but there's just not all that much up that way. The next major "area" would be Palm Coast, but that's over half an hour. I think Flagler Beach is about half an hour north of Daytona, but it's a really small town if I'm not mistaken.

Then you're talking Palm Coast and maybe the southernmost reaches of the St. Augustine area.

Why do they need to go north?

Heading south or southwest will land them along the space coast or towards Orlando where there are a ton of housing opportunities in various communities.
