floral question

I am newly engaged and my parents and I are looking into having a disney world wedding, however we are on a budget. Can anyone tell me if you have to use Disney's floral people or can you bring in your own floral arrangements especially if they are silk? Thanks!!!!

disney only requires that you meet certain minimums. if you meet your minimum then u can outsource for lots of things including flowers, photography, videography, limos, etc. hope that helps!

Well it kinda depends. If you decide to go for real flowers, you can go with an outside vendor. The one stipulation is you cannot use an outside floral vendor for events inside the park.

I don't think that silk florals will be a problem, for either the ceremony or the reception. As the previous poster mentioned, as long as you have met your minimums you should be fine.

As PrincessBride07 has already mentioned, the rules are slightly different if you are planning on having an event inside one of the theme parks. I held my FTW VR dinner reception inside the Disney Studios Theme Park and thus had to work with Disney on pretty much everything (floral, decor, transportation, etc.) -- but that was okay with me since I had worked with them on other events and was always nothing but pleased with their work.

Janet2k, thank you for the welcome!!! I am really looking forward to getting things started! I just hope I can plan everything within the budget my parents gave me!!!! Especially since I grew up going to the parks and staying at the Poly and Contemp. If you have any budget cutting advice I would be all "ears"!
