Hi everyone! We just got back from our planning session trip on Saturday and I have a few questions about floral pricing (I'm trying to prepare myself). A while ago there was a thread about the gel cylinders but now I can't find it.:sad2: This is what we ordered and if you used any of the following or something similar, could you please give me an estimate of what it cost? i greatly appreciate the assistance! :)

multi sized (probably 12", 9", 6") cylinders filled with gel. In each gathering one will have a small arrangement on top, one will have a single bloom, and one will have mickey confetti mixed in.

one vase of a 1/2 dozen red roses (for a memorial)

a basket of flower petals for the staged exit. (no bags or cones, just loose in a basket)

colored napkins at the Cali Grill

LED lights will be put in the gel for the dessert party

aisle runner with petals down the sides (she didn't mention the fullness of the petals)

fresh flowers for the destination castle cake

sand for our sand ceremony vases (vases are coming from us)

ok, i feel like i'm missing something here.... we are doing our own bouquets and bouts here and bringing them with so not that... hmmmm. i'll keep thinking but this is a start. Thanks in advance. I'll be posting pics from the trip to my PJ hopefully by the end of the week! :thumbsup2

Hello!

We had two cylinders at each table for our DP. One was 9" and one was 6", and both were filled with aqua blue gel, suspended LED lights and silver and black Mickey confetti.

The 9" cylinders were $12/each, and the 6" cylinders were $10/each.

Here's a picture:

We had three colours of rose petals for our aisle. Originally the quote was for $350 worth of petals, but there was no way I was going to pay for that! I was warned about having less, but I was willing to take the gamble! Here is what $75 worth of petals looks like (and it was fine by me!):

HTH!! :goodvibes

Thanks Wazzo! I'm glad to hear the gel cylinders aren't overly expensive. :thumbsup2 Also, I'm very pleased with the amount of petals you got for $75. It looks beautiful!

Thanks! I'm happy to show the picture of petals because I don't think anyone should have to pay $350 for something that could blow away! :rotfl: I guess if you had your heart set on a true carpet of petals you may have to spend more, but we were going for a natural, outdoorsy look anyway. Glad to help! :thumbsup2

Honestly I love your $75 worth of petals, it probably looks much better than $350 for several reasons haha!

$350 worth of petals would probably be MOUNDS of petals!! Yours looks amazingly perfect for an outdoorsy look.

I haven't had my wedding yet, so I'll have to post pictures when I come back (wedding is next week), but here is what I had on my BEO:

Gel centerpieces:
22 inch cylinder ($15 each to rent, plus $60 each for the floral and lights)
22" cylinders with acrylic ice in the base of the base and 2 LED lights buried in the ice. Fill with clear gel and suspend lavender cymbidium and dendrobium orchids in the gel. Nothing at the top of the gel.

Aisle Runner
Fabric Aisle Runner - $260

Aisle Petals
Light scattering - $150

Basket of Flower Petals for Staged Exit
$2.50 per person

Did anyone have a small square vase with roses, hydrangea's or orchids with LED lights for the DP after (something similar to pic #1)? How much was it per arrangement? Also, did anyone have 3 cylinders varying in height with roses on top (something like pic #2)? What was the cost for each or all 3?

One more thing...do any of you mind posting your a pic of your bouquet's with the cost?

Thanks so much!!!:thumbsup2

Hi Annie! I think DisneyBrideToni had something similar to pic #1. I'll go search her PJ to see if I can find an estimate for you!

Annie, I found an estimate for you. It's from DisneyBrideToni's PJ so I hope she doesn't mind me posting it here.

11 4x6x6 vase arrangements designed french using blush, light pink and hot pink roses, light pink hydrangea with iridescent clear marbles in base of vase. One on each guest table and 2 on head table.....$715.00

If I calculated correctly it comes out to be $65 each.

Also, the LED light that was put in for the DP was $3.00 each.

Remember though, her wedding was last February so the prices have probably gone up. I would estimate $75-$80 each for the price now.

Here are pics I found of her pieces on the POTD thread. Toni, I really hope you don't mind me posting...
