I was the inspiration of that thread On one of my last trips, someone was hitting on me- the OP of that thread, Stacy, thought it was hysterical so she started that thread. I have to admit that your story beats my story any day of the week! I'm flirtatious by nature, and a majority of the time I mean absolutely nothing by it...but I hate being alone at wdw and flirting makes it more fun. However, if I do happen to actually mean it though, then I bust out my years of flirting experience

I dont consider myself flirtacious at all I am just me...
However, flirting is much more fun as well as being easier to accomplish when you stop looking for "it" Just be yourself, go with whatever feels natural at the time and just remember especially if you arent looking for a hook up what does it matter even if you make a fool out of yourself...you have no plans to ever see this person again I travel on business so much that I would be bored to tears if I didnt talk and joke with strangers...It makes dinner or even a drink at the bar so much more enjoyable and as long as its all harmless fun and noone gets hurt then its "all good" I think sometimes people get too hung up on making it a connection and thats not what the true art of "flirting" is all about.....

Flirting is well...just flirting...for me its done simply for immediate entertainment, with no intention of developing any further relationship. (wolf like or otherwise...lol) I think sometimes we confuse flirting with more serious intentions and for me when I say flirting it is with no serious intent involved

My problem is that I am usually over in DW with my kids and I don't normally see any single guys. I am not shy, but they just aren't around when I am. Bad luck I guess. When I am over at PI on the other hand, I can flirt all I want. I need some pointers on where to go to find the singles in the parks. I would love to flirt in line...pass the time..lol

OK.. just got back from POP/WDW last Sunday.... since it was free dining... there was no problem with food... even had so many extra since I did not find myself eating as much this trip as previous.. so anyway!!!

It must have been Wednesday morning and decided to have breakfast at the food court... after doing the YMCA of course... well... I realize that I do have alot of CS left... as I was walking away... I look back and saw this guy pulling a $20 bill... so I back track and gave my card to the CM/Casher and pointed to this dude..."Ohhh I got my brother on my card" ... CM took my card and swipe... notice that he did not have any drink just the platter.. so the CM was explaining to him he gets 2 drinks with his CS... he looks so confused that he was basically standing there frozen.. so finally after a few minutes and me yelling at him " bro.. get your drink... and I am gonna go ahead I will wait for you at the table..." and so I left and went back to my room...

Thursday night.. as I was getting a frozen blue drink.. I got a tap on me shoulder... I look up and say "what the heck..." this dude was tall.. about 6 feet... He then said... "wow..wow.. sis remeber me ????" it was my chosen brother from breakfast... I then apologize that i did not recognize him and was ready to snap his finger and do kung fu by him tapping me shoulder we chit chatted.... and compared notes... so then he ask ..."whatcha doin tomorrow?" it was Friday my movie day... "Ohh..Ohh.. what are you watching... can I come ?? my treat since you paid for my breakfast" me = "sorry I dotn watch movie with strangers and then chuckle he said.. Oh Ok.. I understand... "what about lunch... do you still have free lunch ???" I said yeah... why ?? "So where are we having lunch ?" Me: I know I am eating at Raglan road.. "Ok... what time" he said... around 2PM !!! and soooooooo after my 1st movie .. walking towards Ragland Road... guess who was sitting next to Tin Man??? Patrick.. yes we are on 1st name basis by that time.... and he did pay for his own lunch and even paid for my appetizer To make the long story short... See what happens when you share your credits????? I found me a new friend... we went on our separate ways and agreed to keep in touch via email.. I even suggested he joins the disboard!!!!

Yikes... No..No..No.. no romance.. just a friend in the making.... I guess just like in any sports my handicap is... i have taken romance out of the equation for now.... that is tooooooooooooooo much work and effort woman!!!

LOL! Well I guess I can see your point there with the effort and work, I can't help but to wonder if it is ever worth it in the end though... I've become so accustomed to my single life that I see the little romance in every day little things. From a shared laugh to a glance from across the room... I am such a dreamer... young and dumb my dad would say..

Tracy!!! you are young!!!! and so dont ever follow my foot steps.... Maybe if am 10 years younger I will give it a try again... but for now... going to Mouseland and having so much fun with friends is more than enough for me to handle...
