Flips without the Hysteria?

Like almost every VMK and DIS player out there, I too would like a pair of green flips.

However, I don't want them because they're rare, or because staff wear them, or because you can't purchase them anymore. I simply want them because green is my favorite color. My favorite pair of flip flops are the green ones that I bought at Old Navy last summer, which I wear at about any chance I can get. If they weren't rare, or the color of staff, I would have bought them anyway, simply because I love green.

I was just wondering if any of you felt the same way. How many of you would still want green flips without the added hysteria that goes along with them?

I would. My favorite color is blue and my second favorite color is green... I almost bought them in beta too, but I just got my blue ones right away and figured I'd get the green ones later... guess not. Although this is how I feel about all the rare blue furniture and things... I don't want them because they're rare, I want them because I adore the color blue.

I especially wish that I had them this week since St. Patrick's Day is coming up and I can't complete my "green" look without a pair of green shoes.

Me!!! I don't want them because they're rare, I want them because I always wear the green Minnie Mouse shirt. Well, *I* don't wear it, but my vmk character CapeGirl wears it The boys have green shoes they can wear, but us girls have NO green shoes at all! There are a pair of boots we can wear that are sort of green, but they are really more of a blue-green teal color than green.

I agree with Cape Girl here, us girls need some green shoes!! lol. The thing with those teal-ish shoes is that they pretty much match with NOTHING! lol. They certainly don't match with any green outfit considering the color just clashes lol. I like the color green and want the flips simply because of that reason lol.

I don't think staff should own an entire outfit lol. They should keep the green ears so that they can be identified and then let the rest of the people have the green shirt, pants and shoes! lol.

My favorite color is also green. I would like at least something green for shoes to wear to go with my all green outfit that I wear on occasion. I don't really care if they are green flips, green boots or green sneakers, just something green.

Absolutely agree we need some green shoes. Cawa prides herself on her color coordination and the beige shoes just don't work with her green outfits.

Not me! I have absolutely NO INTEREST in owning green flips even with all the hysteria out there about them. They just don't interest me. Now if they were pink flips, that's a different story! Why don't we have pink shoes anyways???

I think they should release the green flips again. Not because I really want to buy any - I'm not much of a flips wearer - but because I don't think vmk ever intended any of the clothes or furniture to become quite so rare. They started releasing the beta furniture again (and I expect it will all be released again eventually), and I expect they will release the green flips again.

I don't think vmk has been too happy with the blockbuster trades for these items, so I think they will attempt to balance things out. Perhaps they will only be released for St. Patrick's Day, so they still will be rare, but not impossible to obtain afterwards.

(Note I could be completely wrong. If I had green flips and had my heart set on using them for leverage, I might trade them today. If I just liked green flips, well then no reason to get excited even if they rerelease them. If you never wanted to trade them, then it doesn't matter if more people have them)

As a person who doesn't really like green much and therefore has very little green in her real wardrobe, I don't care if I ever have green flips.

I do believe that there should be some sort of green shoes available for us girls, tho. I would like them for St Patty's day as well as for Christmas next year.

I would like to have the green flips too but again not because they are rare just need green shoes, I would LOVE to see a green princess dress released with green shoes and if that happened could care less about ever getting the green flips!


We also need more color variations on VMK we need lime green shoes as well as orange!

More character costumes heck just more variety!!!!

I agree! I was going to "go green" for St. Patty's day but found that the green skin just did not match with those teal boots any more than the green clothes do. So I had to go with the blue-green skin and dark blue hair and just let the green clothes tell the shamrock color story. It would be so much better if they just gave girl characters a green sandal (or pump if they ever made a green dress!!!) to have in our wardrobes.

I too would love a new green dress, complete with pretty green shoes. (No green flips for me) My luck (since I'm not Irish)is that they'll release some goofy looking leprecaun hat that makes the peter pan hat look cute!

makes the peter pan hat look cute!!! now that would be a difficult task! I only bought one of those UGLY things since I just have to have all the hats but I hardly ever wear it it is so ugly!

That wasn't me. I say that purple is the new green for flips. Green is so 2005 Maliboomer is the one who likes the khaki flips.

I'd like lots more new clothes/costumes and shoes though.

Back in the old days I had a pair and sold them because I am just not a flipflop girl!
