Flip flops

I live in Texas so am in my flip flops for about 10-11 months out of the year (except for dress shoes at work-ugh!). I love my flip flops and even wear them at Disney! I have some really comfy Croc flip flops and some Yellow Box and some LL Bean Maine Isle. I bring them all and alternate between them. Have never had blisters or sore feet.

I wore my Under Armour athletic slides (similar to flip flops but without the piece that goes between your toes). Super comfortable all day long. Just bought some Nike slides yesterday, too, and they're just as comfortable. The nice thing about athletic slides is the upper part that goes over the top of your foot is very cushioned, which makes them even more comfortable than flips, IMO.

My new Nike slides:

I wear flip flops every single day of the vacation! My feet are tired at the end of the day, but I wear them because I am most comfortable in them!

If you are bringing sandals you have broken in, you shouldn't have a problem. I live in FL and I always joke that I don't own shoes. I also vouch for Teva Mush, I have worn those all day in the park with no issues. I usually alternate pairs.

If you are used to flip flops you probably won't lose one. The roller coaster cars have floors and on soarin' you are asked to remove them for the duration of the ride.

I wear flip flops but I alternate them. I find that my feet appreciate that.

Me too. Outside of work, I wear my flip flops almost all the time. I bring a couple different pairs and rotate through them. I have Sanuks, Tevas, and Reefs and all are super comfortable.

I also wear yellow box flip flops in the parks, especially when it is hot. I have weird circulation issues in my feet that cause them to get blood red, swollen and HOT in the warm season when on my feet or walking (even a mile around the block). So if I wear tennis shoes all day I have horrible blistered toes, no matter how comfy the shoes are under normal circumstances. My feet have to breathe. In the winter my feet lose blood circulation and toes turn white if exposed to cold. It's wacky. But flip flops, though they make my feet and legs ache sometimes, save my feet from painful blisters.

I wear the Sanuk Yoga Mat flip flops - I wear them everyday at home and have never had an issue at the parks (and we walk an average of seven miles a day).
I wear these too! I wear these everyday and LOVE them! They are like walking on clouds. I do bring them to WDW but I also wear sneakers and Toms I had painted for WDW. So I switch up what I wear each day. If I wear my Sanuk yoga mat flip flops, it won't be for long periods of time- maybe half a day, in the morning and then after our midday break I will wear sneakers or vice versa. I love those flip flops! I bought my first pair in 2012 and haven't worn any other flip flops since.

I always wear flip flops to the parks! I alternate between my Teva Mush and my Croc flip flops. Many years ago, I tried wearing tennis shoes and my feet hurt so much after a day at the parks.

I wear flip flops at the parks. My feet are too sweaty for shoes in that heat! I don't do roller coasters so can't help there but I did leave them on the floor on Soarin. I wear Olukai. They have a good arch.

I used to always were flops in the parks- loved them. Unfortunately I had a nasty bout with plantar fasciitis for the last year and am no longer able to wear flops at all..ever. :(

I really missed the ease and comfort of them, the heavier athletics shoes are awful, but at least my foot doesn't hurt!

I hate wearing closed shoes in the parks since I'm very prone to blisters, but can't walk in backless shoes, so this time I'm trying the Tevas that are flip flops but have the strap around the heel. I've been wearing them all summer so far and I think they might work!

I'm envious. I can't wear flip flops and I want to wear them! They look so comfy in other people but they hurt my feet. I wear new balance walking shoes.

That's all I wear. I highly recommend the Reef brand ones with the massaging cloud footbed (it is all raised diamonds, not flat) - they have arch support, too. My last Disney trip, the only day the bottoms of my feet hurt from walking so much was the day I chose to wear a different pair (same brand, but a typical flat footbed), so the cloud footbed definitely helps prevent foot fatigue! I hardly ever wear another type of flip-flop now.

i love wearing my teva sandals in the park.
i have a couple of pairs of them but i only wear the ones that have the strap in the back.
they are great when it rains while i am in the park.

i stopped wearing regular flip flops or teva mush ones.

too many times in a crowd, some yo you steps on the back of my shoe and well, i just flop......lol

I wear my flip flops for the 2 weeks we are there and i don't have any problems with my feet when wearing them. If i decide to wear other shoes like sneakers my feet start hurting after about a hour of walking where as I can walk around all day in my flip flops. Mine are Rocketdog ones and have a cushioned and molded sole so my foot is supported a bit more than with regular flip flops. I have 4 pairs so i just rotate them. If we go to Universal and i think they might fall off on a ride, i wear them on my hands.
