flip-flops recommended??

Another vote for flip flops! But don't go with the cheap-o ones, invest in some good quality flips.

I got some Nike flips last year for about $22 (the upper part is made from a neoprene-type material and is very comfy - it's material like scuba suits are made from). Wore them all summer and LOVED them. They were a life-saver at WDW when my tennies cause a huge blister on the bottom of my toe. All of my other tennies rubbed the blister for two days, then I thought to change to my flips. Wore them the rest of the trip without any problem!

I have those same flip flops and absolutely love them!! The only downside is when it is really hot outside my feet tend to sweat a little in them but I would highly recommend them

I've worn my Merrell flip flops for the past 3 summers @ WDW. I'm bringing them again this year. My legs and feet never tire.

I have the croc flip flops and I love them. I had the Old Navy pair for like 3 years and my DH begged me to please throw them out. I lived in them. I could not find another pair at Old Navy like the ones that I loved.
Today I ordered a pair of Teva Mush thanks to these boards. I can't wait until they come in.

Another vote for Teva's. I wore them almost everyday last trip, and didn't get a single blister. They are now sold at DSW, so you can try them on before buying.

My son and DIL wear flip flops all day in the parks, everyday, and we normally do 10 day trips. I don't know how they do it, but they do. If I were to wear them for 1/2 day, I would be sitting the 2nd half of the day. I'll bring 2 different pairs of Reebok's to switch back and forth, to keep me moving.

Just a word of caution about flip flops at DW. Be careful while you are getting on and off rides especially the conveyor belt ones! I nearly lost one of my Birkenstocks last year getting off Peter Pan! I also made sure I was hanging onto them during Soarin'.
I wore them the entire time but I was just extra careful when getting on and off rides. My DD9 wore her Ryder flip flops the whole time and never complained once about her feet hurting.
I can't imagine wearing "tennis shoes" (we call them running shoes in Canada) at DW in August! Too hot!

I love my Nike flip flops! I have 3 pairs and have worn them in Disneyland and Las Vegas. I will be taking them to WDW in 11 days

i love my rainbows. i have had this pair for a year now. wore them in disney last year and they were fantastic. i think i paid 50 in nordstrom. well worth it IMO.

i'm going to buy a pair of birkenstock's today for the trip as well but i plan on wearing my rainbows most of the time.

Another vote for the J. Crew flip flops mentioned! They are THE most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. I plan to wear them to every park where I may get wet, because there is nothing worse than wet socks and tennis shoes.

I have three pairs of the J. Crew ones and I love them!!

I finally got smart and wore my everyday flipflops and they ruled!!! I bought Tevas but the rubber insole rubbed my feet raw. I wear Reef flip flops and will never wear anything else to the parks again in the summer.

I think it just depends on what you're doing...for more relaxing days I wear my flip flops but on days when I know I'm going to have to be doing a lot of walking, I wear sneakers- they support your feet better and as a result, they hurt less at the end of the day. Plus you don't have to worry about your feet being stepped on. When mine (from old navy) get wet they are too slippery to walk in and I have to dry them off first. If you're going to the water parks, just leave them in your locker or else they'll fly off on a slide.
