OK - I'm all set with my Disney trip - Nov 10-15. The only missing piece is my FLIGHTs, need RT from Phila (PHL). Been watching everyday and as of today, flights have dipped down a little from what they were a week ago. Should I book NOW or keep waiting for that ultimate sale. So far for (2) persons costs as follows:

SW - $410 (like n/c for bags, but not a preferred carrier and don't want to deal with luggage on way home)

AT - $410 (heard horror stories, but never had a problem. I like that I can use resort check-in and not worry about getting my bags to MCO on return home)

USAir - $446 (had one issue with a late departure, but usually no issues. Also like that I can use resport check-in and not worry about my bags on way home)

Just don't know what to do and when to book??? Any feedback PLEASE!!!:confused3

If you are staying at any resort, with the exception of CBR and OKW, SW is now a participating airline. CBR is working on their storage area now; no word when OKW will be starting theirs.

I fly Airtran out of BWI every year and I never have had an issue with Airtran.

By the way, it seems like BWI is always a bit cheaper than PHL - I am flying out the Saturday of Thanksgiving and back the following Saturday, and I got $192.00 round trip, non-stop both ways for myself.

Good luck!

My personal choice is US Airways. I fly over 100k miles a year with them. People bash US Airways, but I don't have any major problems. PHL is an awful airport but any airline departing from that airport is going to face the same problems. They offer twice as many nonstops than Air Tran and Southwest offer. They also run larger aircraft so if something does go wrong they have more capacity to rebook you.

US = US Airways
FL = Air tran
WN = Southwest

For Southwest....

...other posters have already indicated that SWA is now an RAC airline at almost all Disney resorts, so it depends on where you are staying. Your signature says you were at Pop in 2009 and SWA was piloting RAC at Pop last year.

...while you may see $410 for SWA now, their fares change all the time, and you can rebook legs with no charge and bank the unused funds for future trips. I booked SWA in April for my Sept trip and now have saved an additional $200 in available funds because I've monitored SWA's prices. The down side is you have to know you'll fly SWA again within the expiration time of the funds, but you can also give the funds to anyone else too.
