Flights to Miami

We are looking to fly into and out of Miami next August (probably last 2 weeks) as we will be doing Fort Lauderdale, Naples and Vero Beach rather than WDW.

I would prefer to fly from Manchester but would consider LGW/LHR for the right price, either direct or indirect. Flights should be released mid to late Sept (just after we return from WDW) so I am trying to get organised now as to what sites to check out daily for prices.

Any recommendations for websites or which airlines are best for Miami?

Also, will have quite a few VA FC miles - what are the chances of using these on the Miami route (either upgrade or companion) during school holidays? I know they are almost useless for the MCO route but hoped that MIami would be better.

we flew back from Miami last year with VA and it was fantastic, much better than mco route.

I would say a better chance of using miles on this route as they class it as a business route and not a holiday route such as mco

We flew into Miami on Good Friday this year and managed to get a G upgrade so reward seats are definitely available in school holidays on this route.

BTW I agree - a MUCH nicer flight than the MCO one.
