I'm going to take a nice leisurely trip to WDW in 2024 once the dust has settled....That won't be very leisurely. That's WDWs 50th anniversary.

Disney wise that's cheap LOLNow we payed for the meals, drinks and snacks of our friend during our stay, which for the 3 of us cost around $950. That included drinks and meals Thursday night all day Friday and Saturday. (2 signature restaurants, 2 table service and 1 counter services + Drinks before dinner each night) Discount Air cost around $250 total for 2 of us so, the entire trip cost around $1200. Pretty cheap trip, but not a totally free.

I wish you had a better experience, but it sounds like you did a lot of other things. Hopefully that plus the lower cost point made the trip something less than terrible for you.Now we payed for the meals, drinks and snacks of our friend during our stay, which for the 3 of us cost around $950. The early 90's - WDW was absolutely amazing in the early 90's.I''m building a time machine and going to WDW in the 80s before this all got so complicated and Epcot still had cool stuff in FW.![]()

Good plan. You'd still have Horizons and World of Motion in all their glory. Plus you'd get to experience the "working movie studio" of Disney-MGM Studios as it was originally intended. With real animators working on real movies in the Animation pavilion, and getting to see actual working sets in the sound stages on the original full backlot tour. The early 90's - WDW was absolutely amazing in the early 90's.

Would we trade Pandora for all the 90's glory?
Aww the good old daysI''m building a time machine and going to WDW in the 80s before this all got so complicated and Epcot still had cool stuff in FW.![]()
Star Wars is a completely different beast, and you know it, lol. There will be people camping out for this one. Star Wars Weekends were super popular, so imagine all those people that are currently with visitation plans on hold until the land opens. I mean, the other 3 parks will be great to visit, but like with new things, there will be huge crowds for ONLY DHS and the Star Wars area of the park. So it's a wonder what they're going to do. I'd have to say looking ahead that they're going to need to start working now on plans for that when it happens, not if.
