Howdy!

Hope everyone is ok! I have a question regarding flights for may 2014.

We are booked to go to the Caribbean Beach Resort may 9th to 16th. Virgin are quoting just shy of £700.
I have been to Disney a few times but never in May. Is £700 the price I should be looking to pay per adult? BA prices are sky high, nearly a grand! I'm worried that virgin will take a leaf out of BA's book and hike their prices up.

What do you all reckon? Is £700 reasonable? :)

I'd pay that for direct flights in May with Virgin. For them I think that's not bad at all. I've paid a lite more for August this year....

We booked our flights January for this may and saw flights go from £950 down to £596 that was without m+m. We watched and checked every day and finally booked at £568. M+m were only £30 cheaper.
I never book when they come out and going not in a peak season I would personally wait but if you are happy with £700 then go for it.

Hi thank you for your replies.

I'm a bit of a worrier so I've decided I will go ahead and book. I did phone Disney and changed the dates to the 8th to 15th as it's cheaper to fly on the Thursday.

Excited now!

Wow! I had no idea flights were so expensive earlier in the year! Our November and December flights with BA were £469 each for me and DH and just around the £400 mark for DD. We found that flying on a weekday is much cheaper too so you may want to consider that, just by changing our dates the difference in flights for a 2 week holiday flying out on the Monday rather than the Friday or Saturday allowed us to add 6 days to our holiday and end up only paying £60 more than we would have been for the 2 weeks leaving and returning over the weekend. Hope you get it sorted out and find a great deal!! :goodvibes

Yeah I know it's crazy! We usually go in Feb and are used to the low prices! The BA flights were released first and I started panicking about the prices! But it's £50 cheaper per person to just flying the day before.
