I thinkmy wife is seriously considering not getting on our flight tomorrow.
She just left for school and I sit at our computer and there are websites for amtrack and rental cars, with quotes for tommorow and our return date.

I know she is does not like to fly, but I never considered she would back out last minute.

Any advice on how to calm her down,

does she have an mp3 or ipod.. download disney music, the podcasts..
this kept me sane on our Christmas trip.. also we flew SW and they sang disney songs several times.. DH does not like to fly either.. it's a control thing...:rotfl: thus why we have a camper....

wishing you lots of luck..

I know this sounds silly but I have motion sickness and the only thing that helps me to calm myself down are the wristbands with the marble in them. You can get them at the pharmacy. You wear them like wristbands but a little higher so the ball rests on the bottom of your arm 3 finger higher on the arm from your wrist. The ball sits on the spot where you check your pulse. Subconsiously when you fell your pulse getting higher your brain tells you to calm down. It does help you to relax. I use them when on long drives or on planes.

Here is a few sites explaing them and what they look like. They say there for motion sickness but they do help with those who get easially excited about flying. I know this because a friend of mine has the same ones and it helps him to relax when flying.

I dont know if these will help in your situation but I thought I would give ya another idea anyway. Good luck
