Flight to Disney tomorrow/Child is sick

Thanks everyone, for the good wishes, the important reminders, and the sage advice. The doctor said it is a cold, she’s negative for strep, and he thinks she can fly with ibuprofen and Afrin on board. No fever since the 99.4 this morning. She did tolerate a mask today at the doctor, so we’ll keep that up, and most definitely on the plane.

Fingers crossed!

That's good news! Glad that she was able to tolerate the mask -- that will protect both her and others at the parks -- and hope that your travel day and your trip go well!

If she is sick, with the change in pressure due to the flight, watch out for ear infections. Your doc can always call in a prescription to CVS on Harbor if need be. Happened to us one year, just as we were driving down from the grapevine, my daughter complained about ear pain. Couple days later with ibuprofen on board the whole time, we got an antibiotic prescription called in. Saved our trip!
