Flight time change, question about car rental time

I was wondering what happens if I get to MCO sooner than expected in reference to the time that I reserved a rental car. My flight was supposed to arrive at 2:33 p.m., but now it is listed as 1:27. I reserved the minivan for 2:30. Should I change my reservation, or will it be fine the way it is? (I also realize that the flight can change again, but I was wondering what I should know).

The Same thing has happened to me twice in the past two weeks. Although I am not renting a car, I have Tiffany Town Car picking me up at the airport, I called and gave them the new times, she said they do check fight schedules, but it would be to my best interest for me to call and keep them informed with new flight info.

You really don't have to let them know, early is ok, but, realize if you pick it up early you need to pay attention to the return time, it may (I don't know your dates and times) cost you more money.

They may not have cars available in your class if you get there too early. I had that happen once.It depends on the rental agency.

Also realize that your time periods will start when you pick up the car. If you return the car at your original time you may an extra days charge.
