We have save $950 for 4 airline tickets for March 19/20th to 27th - I cannot find anything so far for anywhere under $1100....anyone have any suggestions....I just keep waiting to see if they go down....

Thanks in advance! 19 hours of driving does not sound like fun again.

Flying at spring break is expensive. It is what it is. Good luck.

I'm not sure what airlines you have looked at, but if you have not try southwest.com. you can get the best rates with them online called the wanna get away price. We now only fly SW. Not only do they offer the best prices for our area, but they do not charge you for bags so you save alot of money on that as well.

I too am trying to find good flight prices (different dates but still from Indy to MCO). I'm hoping that prices will go down once we're actually in 2010....if not Priceline's "name your own price" here I come!

jmartinez1895 - I did look at Southwest after your post - thanks! I will keep checking that!

BeatleBlonde - have you ever bought airline tix thru Priceline? Do you get to select the specific times that you "bid" on?

I have in the past, unfortunately you can't pick your flight time or airline but if you aren't to picky it can be a great deal. They only guarantee your trip will start between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and you will arrive no later than 12:30 a.m. the next day with a maximum of 1 connection each way and layovers will be no longer than 3 hours.

looking at flights out of Louisville...it is 2 hours from Indy but a few weeks ago SW had seats for $77 each way during March (at least the dates I was looking at in early March). We live in Louisville but are flying our of Indy this Friday because I found seats on SW for $63 each way and they were $120 out of Louisville for the same dates....and for 4 people it makes it worth the drive (even when you add in the $50 it takes to park the car for the week)....and that 2 hour drive seems like a breeze compared to the 16 hours it takes from home!
