I am planning a trip in August for 6 nights. This is our first general Orlando trip and I could use some tips. We went to Disney with hopper tickets in February and stayed onsite at All Star Sports and let them do all of the driving using magical express and the shuttles and they took good care of us.
My son, 11, really wanted to go to "Universal Studios". So I went ahead and booked our flight, room, and car for August as I'll have some time off and they're out of school. We leave on a Thursday arriving about 10:30 AM in Orlando. So my thinking is head over to Universal and poke around and the the next two days Universal/Islands of adventure, (Thursday-Sat. with a express pass on the main Studio day.) One day I'll GPS down to Busch Gardens, another Seaworld and Aquatica,. Maybe Ripley's believe it or not. Oh and I would really like to take a few hours to head on over to a place to shop. Where would you go? I'm not a "designer girl" but I love pretty clothes not made for just size "6" girls. Lol. Can we find something in a 1 or 2x please.
I picked up a book "Orlando's 25 best what to see-where to go-what to do. I like it but wanted some input from the board. Thanks in advance. I was forewarned about the daily rain down pours and the hot as heck temps with humidity. Too, if you were going to have a cool down swim period and then go back out what times what be best?
