Flea fogger?

Now that we've moved to house in a neighborhood w/ lots of dogs, we've been introduced to fleas! YUCK!

I have treated the yard. The dogs are on flea stuff from the vet. All that's left is the house. We don't have any carpet except for a few area rugs. We're leaving for WDW on Friday and the dogs are staying w/ my mom. I was thinking about using a fogger while we were gone to kill the fleas.

My mom will bring the dogs back to our house the day we get back from WDW...will there be tons of dead bugs in our house?

Also, I have lots of plants in the house...will the fogger hurt them?

Is there anything else I can do to get rid of possible fleas in the house other than a fogger (which I really don't want to do unless there's no other way).

Thanks!

Do you have hardwood floors? We used a spray on our carpeting the year we had fleas and it really helped. I didn't want to fog if I didn't have to. I don't know if you could use a spray on wood floors or not, but it was okay on our tile and carpet. Seemed to do the trick.

If you're using a product like Advantage on the dogs, you probably don't need to do anything else with the house. Fleas go after pets as their primary food source and when that's not available to them, they'll likely die/leave.
