Sorry it opened up during arrival. I used heavy thick tape, and taped it around, but guess that doesn't even stop the postal service from mishandling it. But, you did receive everything. Happy Gardening!:flower3:

I had received my exchange today from Jessica. Inside were-
*Sticky notes
*4 veggie packet seeds
*Windstock
*2 Webkinz figurines
*Scooby Doo fruit flavored snacks
*Gardening gloves-very pretty, and in my style
*Stamp pad
*2 Webkinz card packs
*Summer gel window cling

The theme that Jessica had picked out for me was "A little bit of everything", and you did a great job Jessica. Thank you very much, and I am sure my kids will be excited to see the Webkinz items. :flower3:

I am glad that you like them. I was going to send all webkinz items, but how would that be fun for mommy? I know that those webkinz figurines come with a prize or present for their webkinz online… let me know what it is!

Now eat those Scooby snacks before the kids come home!!

Yes they do. We were so into Webkinz before, and spent alot of money on it, then it died down, and into it again. We even had a Webkinz exchange here, but now there are not many Webkinz items you can get in our stores. I think the regular stuffed animals are the only items, IF they have it in stock.

Mine should be delivered today sometime. Who knows though! I forgot to put my note inside of it. I opened my purse this morning to get out something from the bottom, and there the note was! Oops!

No problem.

:yay::cheer2::cool1: Yay!!!!!!! Got mine in the mail just a few minutes ago. Thanks so much, Patsy!!!!!!!!

She did a cooking them for me (I LOVE to cook!)! Here's what was inside:

Introduction to Asian Cooking by Kristin Enkvetchakul (AWESOME cookbook! I just opened it and I'm already super excited about these recipes! Plus, I got a wok for Christmas and haven't been able to put it to much good use yet.. I can't wait to use it more!!!!!)

Citrus zester

A very cute kitchen towel

Recipe cards

Very nice orange spoon to use when cooking!

And a RIDICULOUSLY cute homemade card with a bowl and chopsticks on it! Too cute!

She also included a VERY sweet (unnecessary! But very awesome & totally appreciated!) thank you from her & her daughter regarding a project I helped out with! She sent me Hawaiian iced tea and Coconut Pudding Luau Dessert! I can't wait to use both! Yummy! I've never been to Hawaii (even though everyone else in my family seems to go twice every year since I moved out of their house!), so it's on my list of places to visit!

Thanks so much- wonderful package! I totally love & can absolutely use everything!

Wow that was fast! Glad you are able to use it, and you're welcome. Shayla was very excited with all her Flat Stanley visits, and we just wanted to send a little thank you.

Aww! I bet she had fun with the project. Did Flat Stanley get anywhere interesting?

She had a total of four Flat Stanleys. One had gone to you, another to Texas, one with my sister in Oahu, and the other to New York. The was neat to see all of the pictures, way he was dressed, to read about the different attractions he had visited, and that are in the states that he went to, to hear of who he visited with ..... this was a really great project!

Still thinking of a summer one for her to do.

Seed trade since she, and my son likes to garden with me?

That's so fun!! I loved the Flat Stanley project.. though I sent it to my aunt and she never sent it back! But I enjoyed hearing about my classmates' Flat Stanley adventures! My youngest brother sent a Flat Stanley to my uncle in Chicago a few years ago and he had fun with that one too. It really is an awesome project!

Seed trade would be fun! You should do state flower (or common flower in that state) trade! That would be fun. I wish I had a green thumb. I bought a basil plant from Trader Joe's and it just went downhill from there. My younger (middle) brother is a total plant nerd! He has a ton of potted trees, plants, flowers, etc.. he is a part of a Bonsai society in San Diego. Pretty cool stuff, but he won't let me near his plants :lmao:

For one of my daughter's Flat Stanleys, he came back with seeds of the state flower, and it is neat to see how it looks like since we do not have it here, and will try to plant it.

Do you have any other ideas on fun projects? You seem to have alot of fun ideas. I think I am going to post on the board to see what everyone thinks.

My DC hasn't been updated since Tuesday
It is listed as an expected delivery date of......yesterday :rotfl:
I hope it shows up soon.

Fun! Hmm.. I will have to think of more projects. I think it would be fun to learn about state flowers, birds, etc. I'll let you know if I come up with any!
