I have looked at the TSA site and I'm still coming up unclear :confused3 on the following; LED 4 in 1 flashlight. I always travel with at least one small flashlight in my carry on, but I'm not sure of this one. It is called a 4-1 LED Glowstick Flashlight. It says enviroment safe, no chemicals and from what I can see by turning it on the glowstick is just an extension of the led light with color. Has anyone ever used these or traveled with one? I thought they would be good for the parks at night. I want to be able to take a couple of colors but unsure if TSA will through them out:sad2: They are not as inexpensive as glow sticks but much more useful:thumbsup2 Any insight would be appreciated:flower3:

A quick google showed me that these are not regular glow sticks, despite the name. Regular glow sticks have liquid inside of them, these are just flashlights with a tube that lights up. These are fine for carryon. TSA can usually tell with the X-ray if it has liquid in it or not, but if they do pull it out of your bag to inspect it you can just show them the batteries, and that there is no liquid. Go ahead and pack it, no worries. :thumbsup2

Apparently, some of these flashlights look like tasers. My husband brought one with us on our last trip, and he had to turn it on every time we went through a security inspection (but, he had it in his checked bag, and not in the carry on). We didn't know it looked like a taser when we bought it. My husband shared a few laughs with the security guards, comparing flashlights.

Ours wasn't a glowstick type, though, but it has the red and green LED that help with night vision. Got them especially for when we are looking for wildlife at night on the beach, for example.

Thank you both for your quick responses. I didn't even think it may cause a problem at WDW security gate. When I saw them at the store I was thinking these would be great for night parades and shows. Maybe I should just not bring them and just put the glow bracelets in my checked bags.

Thanks again and have a magical day:wizard:
