Flame Tree or Tusker House??

My fav is the Flame Tree! Love those ribs!

Love them both,I guess I would give slight edge to Flame Tree BBQ.

Tusker House is ok. Flame Tree has never disappointed. I give the edge to Flame Tree.

Flame Tree!
Although MANY rave about Tusker House. I never have figured that out. I have given it at least 3 tries, and none were worth mentioning.

Lorelai -- Someone here more in the know for Cuban type food can correct me, but I am guessing you ate Stuffed Potato Balls (Rellenos de Papa or Papa Rellenos).
But I have never seen them at WDW, except the Food and Wine Fest. Not to say I have not overlooked them!

I have eaten at both and prefer Tusker House. I had the turkey wrap and corn chowder, which was good. DH said the chicken sandwich was good also. At flame tree I found the meat dry and the baked beans just "yuck" (I love baked beans and these were the first ever that I did not like).

I remember these! They were potato volcanoes, sold in clear plastic tall glasses kinda like a cross between the old fashioned coke glasses and parfait glasses. There were layers inside, mostly cheese, chili and a creamy smooth mashed potatoes. They were near the Oasis. I searched for these last time. The kiosk was not there. I asked a CM at a nearby kiosk and they said they had never heard of them.
They were awesome though!

LuLu - That's it!!!!! You described them better than I did. Were they actually called "potato volcanos"? Ahhh! I can't believe that somebody else finally remembers them.

We like the food at Flame Tree better, although Tusker House is good, too. The outside seating area near Flame Tree is nice and peaceful, but on a very hot day we like to go to Tusker House because of its indoor seating.

You can't go wrong at either one, they are both soooo good!!! I really boils down to what we're hungry for that day...
