No, they won't let you substitute. I also tried to use a snack credit for them in September, but they wouldn't let me do that either. I ended up paying cash for them, and they were worth every penny!

you never know what they can do. I asked to sub out fries instead of chips and the cashier said no but I asked the guy at the counter when getting my food and he had no problem with it.

So I'd just ask the ppl getting the food and see what they say. Worst they can say is no.

Aren't the beans in a pretty tiny cup though? I would doubt they'd sub onion rings for that.

LOL! Hmmm, tall skinny younger guy that looked like he'd been worked half to death already and it was only lunchtime and still had a great attitude and a ready smile.

I believe that was at the ABC Commissary if I'm recalling the location correctly.

They will not sub onion rings for the beans. The onion rings are a separate order item.

There was a discrepency on the board last year about this, substituting beans for coleslaw. Everyone was coming back with different answers. When we finally went the women said no problem and I mentioned the confusion. She said that it was really up to the server taking your order.

I would not be surprised if they might sub slaw, but not onion rings. They are not an included side with any dish and must be purchased separately.
