FL Tours

Any comments about using FL Tours from airport to Cape? We are first timers and it looks like we could save a few bucks using them, compared to DCL. Also-- what hotel to stay at the night before -- somewhere near the airport? THANKS!

They are one of the official sponsers of the Dis board. If you do a search for FL tours it comes up with people that used them.

We used them last fall. They were fabulous! The were on time, courteous, and the town car was immaculate.

They've received many favorable comments on the transportation board on the DIS. You may want to check that out.

The one thing about FL Tours that you should know in advance is they only accept cash or travelors checks.

We would definitely use them again.

Thank you! Any ideas for hotels? Do we stay at/near the airport? Or are there hotels at Port Canaveral?

When do you get in to Orlando? If you are arriving late the day the cruise, it may be easier to get a hotel near/at the airport, and then head out to the port in the morning.

If you are arriving earlier in the day, I would recommend going out to the port. Then you can relax, enjoy the pools, etc. We stayed at the Radisson last October, and found it to be a perfectly acceptable hotel. It wasn't the Ritz, but our DD enjoyed the pool, the room was clean, and they have a free shuttle to the port.

Many Diser's are starting to make reservations at the Ron Jon resort. The pool area sounds very nice.
