Has anyone used the LIMO service with them? Are the LIMOS newer , clean, etc?? It doesnt list on their website any info on the limos..any insight would be great before I book!

Limos are sometimes posted on sites, but a company will try to figure out what you think is a Limo. There are many cases where passengers have got a town car instead of a "stretch limo" for the limo price. You have to be careful. Many passengers consider a town car a limo and therefor you might want a limo and get a town car. The best expression to prevent this is to ask for a "stretch limo"

Most of the newer vehicles are the SUV's and stretched Hummers. Town cars are being phased out and most stretch cars are actually older. Limo's to Disney are overpriced. It seems ridiculous to spend twice the money for a limo straight to Disney. The drivers don't usually stop for brew or groceries and many of the drivers are without personalities. Plus the Limos ride like tanks. Try an SUV, or a van for one time and spend half the money for the same trip and I will guarantee you you will be completely satisfied.

its actaully listed right above, and it is a limo..they also have town cars and vans....just NOTHING is lised on them....We def want a limo...they tend to be the cheaper alternative to the suv or hummer( there is only 4 of us..2A/2c)

Most companies you deal with the SUV will be the cheaper alternative. I am sure someone will verify that all Limos are more expensive than SUV's.

We've used FLTours limos a few of times. They are the older stretch town car style. They were clean. They usually have beverages but one time they didn't so I would request it if you want it. We stopped at a grocery store/liquor store once with the limo and it was no big deal. The limos were clean and always on time. The drivers are fine but FLTours deals mostly with towncar/van service to WDW and the drivers are more used to that kind of service. It's fine with us, but don't expect over-the-top limo service that you might get in another city.

And remember, most limos in Florida are white (because of the heat). I know some people have a problem with white limos but it's the norm in orlando.

We would definitely use them again if that's what you want to know.

What is the problem with white limos? We are using a stretch limo via Fl tours to go to Disney. We are taking the 25 minute stop for groceries. Our kids have always wanted to ride in a limo. Since this is a Christmas trip, we are indulging the boys! :rotfl: They don't know. Have even ordered a a bottle of their finest bubbly !!!! PEPSI .....

We have had mostly towncars, not limos. The one time we ended up with a stretch limo was when we booked a van through Tiffany Towncar. Don, no longer driving for them, showed up in that stretch limo and said he had a nice surprise for us...indeed it was. Our flight was about 2 hrs. late, so although we had booked a grocery stop, he asked if we could make do with a convenience store, on the way instead. We flew into Sanford by the way. We pulled that puppy up to the convenience store and you should have seen the looks we got as the two moms got out to get the wine and munchies!!!

I'm not sure what Edd means when he says that most companies don't stop for a grocery stop....the only time I've had an issue with that was when we used FL Tours and had been promised a grocery stop. It was on Thanksgiving Day, about 11:00 am. I had asked repeatedly when I booked if it would be an issue stopping for about 15 mins because it was T-Day..no problem I was told. But, when we got into the car, I told the driver we only needed about 15 mins in the store, I was told there would be no stop because it was T-Day and everything was closed!! Told him a convenience store would do, but no, he kept saying everything was closed. But, that's the only time I have been refused a stop. Most companies make the stop..you just have to let them know beforehand.

A lot of limo drivers do not like grocery stops because it is hard to park that puppie while someone goes in to get the groceries. Also companies like to move the vehicles around since the driver is hourly, so they run a pretty tight schedule. Put it this way, make sure they will want to give you a grocery stop in stretch limo before you commit.
